Western Operations

Centred on the Mt Kelly processing facility, Western Operations form the producing foundation of Austral Resources and provide our oxide processing pathway. The operation is supported by associated copper assets across the region, providing a platform for ongoing production and development.

Eastern Operations

Centred on the Rocklands processing facility, Eastern Operations provide Austral Resources with a sulphide processing pathway. The Rocklands facility is a key component of the Austral Resources strategy to consolidate the region’s copper resources.

Following restart, the Rocklands sulphide processing pathway is intended to produce copper concentrate. Sulphide ore is crushed and ground before flotation separates and concentrates the copper-bearing minerals.
